9.11.
We are commemorating the 9th anniversary of the tragic event today.
For me, the U.S. is my second home. So, the tragedy is nothing but my own, too. I share all the grief and pain with all my dear friends in the States.
However, the background of the terrorist attack is very complicated. I personally feel that the U.S. government's political inconsistencies in the Middle East has invited the distorted hatred among the Muslim terrorists.
However, nothing comes out from furious hatred. There will be only miseries and much deeper sufferings. Put out your useless pride and stop arguing. Free from your selfish persistency. What we need is the brave to forgive our neighbors. If you are really strong and you are the man/woman of love, you can forgive the people around. In other words, if you have no strength to forgive, you are miserably week person no matter how strong arms you have.
Don't stick to your past. Don't chain yourself to the hatred and anger. You have to be free from them in order to step forward and to go on in life. While you want to live free with joy, you dare to enslave yourself with unforgiving past. What an inconsistency!
Let's pray together for the victims of 9.11 and for their families and friends so that their wounds will be healed.!
Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred let me bring love
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord
And where there is doubt, true faith in You.
Make me a channel of your peace
Where there's despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where theres sadness ever joy.
Oh, Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul.
Make me a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
It is in giving to all man that we receive
And in dying that we're born to eternal life.
